Wednesday nights are a ton of fun for our kids in Pre-K through 5th grade! Choirs, classes, group activities and more!

MidRise is our weekly Wednesday night hang out for middle school students! Dinner, games, fellowship, and small group lessons.

Discipleship Groups

Wednesdays, beginning September 4; September – May, 7:30-8:30P • West U Baptist Student Building

Discipleship Groups are small groups for high schoolers that meet weekly on Wednesday nights. Students meet together first at the West U Student Building then split up by gender and grade into small groups.

DivorceCare: Divorce Recovery Support Group

Wednesdays, September 11 – November 6, 6–7:30P • West U Baptist campus, Room 212 • $30

DivorceCare is a safe place where caring people come alongside you as you find healing from the pain of separation or divorce. At this video-based support group program, you’ll find helpful counsel to manage the emotional turmoil and practical tools for decision-making. Childcare available.

Knit, Pray, Crochet

Wednesdays, September 11, 2024 – May 7, 2025 6–7:30P • West U Baptist campus, Room 210

Learn the classic skills of knitting and crocheting from long time teacher Denise Steel and hear a weekly devotional. All skill levels welcome! (And perfect for moms whose kids are attending Wednesday night activities at West U Baptist.) A supply list will be given to you after registration. Childcare available.

MomCo (formerly MOPS) encourages and equips moms of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women, and leaders in relationship with Jesus and in partnership with the local church. Join us to hear from talented speakers and time to fellowship and connect with other mothers. Childcare option available!
Open Door
Fall 2024 Semester: Tuesdays, September 3 – December 17, 9A–12P • Bellaire campus gym. Open Door, our arts and crafts ministry, has been around since 1971! If you want to learn a new hobby or hone your craft while fellowshipping with others, this is the perfect place to do so! Invite a friend! Some of the classes offered are beading, diamond art, fabric painting, quilting, scrapbooking, stained glass, watercolor, wood burning, and more.
